THE TRUTH OF LIFE

CHAPTER 3

PAI YUEN (White Clouds)

Precious is the life one possesses

Along with it only pleasure seen

In the ascending to fame and wealth

You forget the reason of your coming

Using only the defiled nature one gains

Encourage with yet evil thoughts at hand

Netting not fishes from suffering sea but putting

hooks to catch the poor fish inst= ead

As the young = grows into adulthood, whether he gets defiled or not depends on companion m= ixed. To be near black ink, one gets black; to be near red ink, one gets re= d, yet how many truly understand the meaning of it? Only for fame, will one= put hard work in and for money will one crack his head, yet for sensual de= sires all virtues are gone.
