The background of this first picture is the manifestation of The Purple Bamboo Grove. In the Temple of Tao of Heaven, divine messages are delivered through "Fu Luan" which means "Sand Writing" In this delivery, there are three persons, representing Heaven, Earth and Human Being and referred to as "The Three Powers". The  "Heaven Power" holds the wooden stick pencil and writes words in the sandbox sideway (as in the 1st photograph). The "Human Power" speaks out loud the word written by The Heaven Power (as in the 2nd photograph). The "Earth Power" records the writing spoken up by The Human Power on paper (third person not in the photograph).
